2016 Oscar award winner Serena Armitage was in conversation at Annabel’s discussing her live action short film “Stutterer” for which she won an Academy Award in the Short Film Live Action category this year.

Serena has been in television production for nearly a decade. She spent three years editing trailers for ITV, and is now an experienced Producer and Director of programmes for ITV, BBC and Channel 4 including Come Dine With Me, Piers Morgan’s Life Stories and the BAFTA nominated Paul O’Grady: For The Love of Dogs. Her latest project was a new show for ITV called Fierce, where presenter Steve Backshall meets the fiercest creatures on the planet. Alongside she's developing and co-writing her first feature project. She’s drawn to powerful, character-led stories, across all genres.
