A Soul Session with Jocelyn Brown
up and dance as Jocelyn Brown, a woman with a powerful, soul shaking, larger
than live voice performed live at Annabel’s. Renowned since the 80s for her R&B and
dance music this disco diva has worked with CHIC on "Take It Off"
(1981) and "Tongue In CHIC" (1982) as well as on Bernard Edwards'
solo album "Glad To Be Here" (1983) as well as Luther Vandross,
Bette Midler, John Lennon, Quincy Jones, Michael Jackson, Roberta Flack,
George Benson, and Culture Club. Most
recently, Brown’s trademark sound was recreated by Snap’s international one
single “The Power”. Brown’s set included some of her greatest hits
including Somebody Else’s Guy and other classics such as No More Tears
(Enough is Enough), Aint No Mountain High Enough, It’s Alright I Feel It and
Something’s Going on in my Soul.
