Abstract Expressionism at the RA
The Royal Acadamy hosted the first survey exhibition of Abstract Expressionism in more than six decades. Featuring over 150 paintings, including Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko and Willem de Kooning, this exhibition demonstrates the energy, experimentation and activity of the 1950s America and shows how artists on both sides of the country were pushing creative boundaries. The day began with a Private Club guided tour of the exhibition and was followed by Brunch at George.
