Fashioning a Reign: 90 Years of Style from
The Queen's Wardrobe
We welcomed Caroline de Guitaut, Senior Curator of Decorative Arts at Royal Collection Trust for a Q&A about Royal fashions.
Specialising in 19th and 20th Century royal couture, de Guitaut has curated many successful fashion exhibitions with the Royal Collection and published and lectured widely. Her exhibitions have encompassed some of the most famous examples of British couture designed for the Royal family. At the time engaged in curating three official exhibitions to mark Her Majesty's 90th Birthday this year: Fashioning a Reign: 90 Years of Style from The Queen's Wardrobe, which represents the largest display ever mounted of twentieth century British royal couture which was discussed on the evening at Annabel’s.
