Sir Malcolm Rifkind
For almost 40 years, Sir Malcolm Rifkind served at the forefront of British politics. For eighteen years he was a minister under Margaret Thatcher and John Major. He has served as Secretary of State for Scotland, Transport, Defence and as Foreign Secretary. Following the recent publication of his memoirs, he came to the Club, in conversation with journalist Miranda Green, speaking about his years in government and explaining his involvement in some of recent history’s most important events.
