The Books That Built Me with Plum Sykes
Annabel’s is delighted to welcome back the literary salon, The Books That Built Me. Salon founder Helen Brocklebank will be in conversation with best-selling author Plum Sykes about her exciting new novel, Party Girls Die in Pearls and about the books that have inspired her writing. Long-time contributing editor to US Vogue, Plum Sykes’ first novel was the ultra-glamorous ‘chic lit’ Bergdorf Blondes, which sold more than a quarter of a million copies worldwide. Party Girls Die in Pearls is a fabulous romp of a murder-mystery, set in 1980s Oxford: her brilliantly conjured world of Pimm’s, punts, puff-ball skirts and Sloane Rangers has been described as Clueless meets Agatha Christie.
Tickets are £35 and include a copy of Party Girls Die in Pearls and a glass of Champagne Bollinger. Please contact the Annabel’s Office to reserve a ticket: t. +44 (0)20 7629 1096 |e. firstname.lastname@example.org
